The new Master Clamp is designed to join shadow-box frames, canvas-floaters, tall stem moldings, and ordinary picture frames. The clamps features enable easy adjustment/ alignment thus full contact of the miter cuts. it joints at the top all the way to the bottom of the moulding.
The New functions
- Horizontal angle adjustment - easy to adjust the miter-cuts to a full contact surface and avoid any joining gaps.
- Vertical angle adjustment - (use the 2 wing nuts). to apply additional pressure to the top of the joint (if needed).
- Spring jaws - "push n tighten" mechanism grab the miter cuts together.
- Fence stabilizer (black thumb nut on top of right fence), keeps the right fence always locked except when adjusting horizontal angle. (then lock it right back).
- Quick release - to change clamp opening for new frame.

Joining a floater frame or shadowbox molding may become a challenge at times, It is important to get the best tools available for the Job. MasterClamp is easy to operate and works flawlessly with great precision. V5-Pro was developed of its earlier predecessor v5-qrs. It is packed with smart features; some of us call it "framers dream clamp", as a picture framer I couldn't agree more. The joining method was upgraded recently to reflect the new technical improvements.
